Our stock exchange, in collaboration with Altınordu Municipality, Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, DOKA, Ordu University, KOSGEB, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, and Habitat Association, launched Hack@Ordu on November 7, 2025.
Our Board Chairman delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, stating:
Today, we are gathered here for a special beginning that embodies our hopes for the future, where ideas meet technology and production meets intelligence. This entrepreneurship competition, themed around energy and agricultural machinery, with artificial intelligence at the forefront, is not just a competition of ideas, but a symbol of a vision where knowledge and production are blended.
In the new era of the world, capital is now based on knowledge.
Countries are no longer enriched by the size of their land, but by the knowledge produced by their youth.
Therefore, we at the Ordu Commodity Exchange know that the greatest capital comes not from money, but from knowledge, curiosity, and the desire to produce.
Knowledge is humanity’s common heritage, a universal language. An idea developed here today can influence production, productivity, and sustainability not only in Ordu but around the world.

Because knowledge knows no bounds; the minds that produce it shape the future. At this point, the role of our youth is invaluable. Curiosity, dynamism, and a passion for research are inherent in youth.
Young people question conventions, seek out the new, try things with courage, and are not afraid of making mistakes. This is precisely where innovation is born: in minds that question, seek, and experiment…
We believe that a youth equipped with artificial intelligence technologies can increase energy efficiency, make agricultural production smarter, make labor more valuable, and nature more livable.
This competition is a demonstration of our intention to bring out this potential in young people. The following words of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk are more meaningful here today than ever before.
“The truest guide in life is science.” We see these words not only as advice, but as a compass. Because no development that does not rely on knowledge, science, and reason can be sustainable.
The journey we are embarking on here today is not just the start of a competition, but the beginning of a new mindset. I wholeheartedly believe that the ideas that will emerge from the young minds of Ordu will shape the smart agriculture, renewable energy, and production technologies of tomorrow.

On this occasion, I would like to wish all our young participants success and emphasize that their ideas make a stronger, more productive, and more rational Turkey possible.
I would like to thank all our partners, jury members, and young people who are the hope for the future for their efforts in this meaningful organization. I greet you all with respect and affection, hoping that we will walk together towards a future filled with knowledge, science, and production.
