The Ordu Development Platform (ORKAP), consisting of the Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ordu Chamber of Industry, Altınordu Chamber of Commerce, Ordu Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, MÜSİAD, OGİD, Ordu SİAD, and Ordu City Council, held its 6th meeting on November 7, 2025.
At the meeting, which was attended by our province’s deputies Mahmut Özer, Naci Şanlıtürk, Seyit Torun, and Mustafa Adıgüzel, detailed information was provided on the fundamental problems facing our province, and requests and offers of cooperation were made regarding the resolution of these problems.
– The construction of the ring road is not progressing. The reason for this is that it was tendered at 2017 prices and prices have increased overall. The solution is either to allocate funds or to renew the tender.
– The City Hospital has road and parking issues. Opening the hospital without resolving these issues will result in severe traffic congestion.
– Construction of the Çambaşı road has also been halted. Funding should be allocated to resolve the road issue in Çambaşı, which is an important center for tourism in the province.
– The OSB bridge and intersection, along with the OSB’s natural gas issue, are also among the priorities.
