Our preparations for the 2026-2029 strategic plan are ongoing. A search meeting to bring together our activities that will achieve our strategic goals with the activities of our stakeholders was held on September 19, 2025, hosted by our exchange. Greeting the participants before the meeting, our board chairman Ziver Kahraman said:
Dear Stakeholders, Valued Participants,
As the Ordu Commodity Exchange, I am delighted to be with you during the preparation process of our Strategic Plan, which will guide us through the 2026-2029 period. The reason we are gathered here today is not only to chart the course for our exchange, but also to build a collective wisdom that will contribute to the economic future of Ordu, the Black Sea region, and our country.
We know that no single institution can achieve its goals alone anymore. Strong partnerships between the public sector, private sector, universities, civil society organizations, and our producers will give us both confidence and momentum. As we prepare our strategic plan, we must present a vision that responds not only to current realities but also to the needs of the future.
Ordu Commodity Exchange aims to take responsibility not only in nuts and agricultural products, but also in added value, exports, digitalization, sustainability, and green transformation. In this journey, the contributions, ideas, and criticisms of our valued stakeholders are very valuable to us.
This strategic framework that we will develop together will increase the competitiveness of the Ordu economy, provide our producers with greater profits, strengthen the capacity of our industry, and enhance the brand value of our city. I would like to thank all of you for participating in this meeting and supporting the process. With the hope of conducting work based on participation, transparency, and a shared vision, I wish this meeting brings about beneficial results.
