As part of the minister’s program, which brought him together with representatives from the business community, our board chairman, Ziver Kahraman, also delivered a speech and provided insights about our province and the sector.

First of all, I’d like to say, “Welcome to our province.” Welcome—it is an honor to have you here. The export figures announced today once again highlight our country’s productive capacity, entrepreneurial spirit, and competitiveness in global markets. With the steady growth in exports it has achieved in recent years, Turkey has become a strong trade player not only regionally but also on a global scale. This success is no coincidence. The determined policies of our government—led by the Ministry of Trade—along with the support provided to our exporters and the determination of our business community, form the foundation of this achievement.
Dear Minister, the export-oriented strategies implemented under your leadership have increased market diversification, encouraged value-added production, and made significant contributions to our country’s foreign trade balance. The export figures achieved today are not merely economic data; they are also an indication that Turkey’s reputation for production, quality, and reliability is recognized worldwide.
We, as the Ordu Commodity Exchange, are also continuing our efforts without pause to increase export capacity, improve quality, and further enhance competitiveness in international markets for our country’s strategic agricultural products, particularly hazelnuts.
We believe that, in line with the goal of a Turkey that grows through production and strengthens through exports, the public and private sectors will join hands to achieve even greater successes. On this occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to our Minister, who paves the way for our exporters, supports them, and strengthens our country’s commercial vision, as well as to all stakeholders who have contributed to this effort.
Turkey will grow stronger as it produces and will expand as it exports. I greet you all with my warmest regards and offer my deepest respect.
